Requirement :
- Ensure operational safety, identify potential hazards, and implement prevention and corrective measures
- Explains the progress of job achievement, delayed work, work area conditions and others during the overshift.
- Carry out safety briefings to operators regarding various matters related to work such as unit position, work to be done, hazard indications, and others.
- Perform assignments to operators in accordance with the ability to control heavy equipment units and the level of difficulty of the work, as well as directing to the location that has been determined by the Operation Manager.
- Oversee mining operational activities in general, so that they run safely and securely, and provide results with high productivity.
- Report and coordinate any problems that occur in heavy equipment units to the Plant / Maintenance Section.
- Prepare reports on the results of safety briefings, equipment / unit activities including those that are stand-by, break down, and those that have entered the service schedule for each shift.
- Review and evaluate constraints in mining operations and discuss with the Operations Supervisor, as well as find solutions to solve problems that occur.
- Preparing / positioning the Lighting Tower, and turn it on and / or turn off for the night shift / NS
Qualifications :
- Education: Minimum Bachelor in Mining Engineering or related field
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a leading nickel mining contractor company
- Certifications: POP certification is preferred
- Knowledge: Knowledge of mining operations, heavy equipment, and occupational, health, and safety (OHS)
