Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement short- and long-term exploration plans.
- Supervise field teams in geochemical, geophysical, and drilling activities.
- Ensure compliance with exploration objectives and company standards.
- Coordinate daily field operations, including logistics, equipment, and personnel.
- Supervise drilling, trenching, and sampling operations.
- Monitor safety, quality, and productivity on site.
- nsure accurate collection, recording, and interpretation of geological data.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, and logs for internal review and external compliance.
- Enforce HSE policies and procedures.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Liaise with landowners, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., environmental, engineering, finance).
Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geoscience, Mining Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree (optional, but advantageous).
- 5–10 years of experience in mineral or Nikel.
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in remote fieldwork and difficult terrains preferred.
- Strong knowledge of exploration techniques and geological software (e.g., ArcGIS, Leapfrog, Surpac).
- Familiarity with drilling and sampling methodologies.
- Data analysis and report writing skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel or relocate.
- Ability to work in remote and potentially harsh environments.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- First Aid, HSE training, or certifications (advantageous).
