Nickel Industries Contributes to the Construction of Health Facilities at IMIP
Morowali, January 9, 2025 – Nickel Industries Limited participated in the groundbreaking ceremony to construct the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) clinic. The clinic aims to improve access to health care for employees of IMIP companies, including subsidiaries of Nickel Industries Limited (NIC), such as Hengjaya Nickel Industri (HNI), Oracle Nickel Industries (ONI), and Ranger Nickel Industries (RNI).
Yulius Susanto, the Deputy Operation Director of PT IMIP, stated that the clinic will focus on treating employees with serious injuries, such as burns, and other severe diseases.
"We hope that with this health facility, employees who experience serious illnesses or injuries will no longer need referrals to Makassar or Jakarta. Instead, they will be able to receive direct treatment at the health facilities we have established."
This health facility will be built on an area of 7000 square meters equipped with several essential units, including the Emergency Room (ER), General Polyclinic, Outpatient services, and Dental Poly. Additionally, it will have supportive features such as ultrasound, X-ray, complete laboratory facilities, and electrocardiogram (ECG).
Tony Green, the Chief Operating Officer of Nickel Industries Limited, stated that this initiative is a strategic and valuable step for the company. The program aims to enhance the quality of service and ensure that employees who are seriously injured or ill receive the best possible care.
